Evelyn's job is to keep MELC's engine running smooth. Providing quality programming in both the early childhood and school age programs is a prime focus of her job. Keeping MELC facilities safe and secure for all our children is key to our quality programs. Great programs depend on excellant staff and Evelyn is responsible for making sure staff have the tools to do their job well. Just about any issue that affects the day to day operations is of concern to her. Evelyn's undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and her masters work was in Management at Penn State. Prior to coming to MELC, Evelyn served in management positions with the YMCA. Evelyn volunteers on a Youth Aid Panel Program that helps neighborhoods deal personally and effectively with first time offenders and is an active Rotarian.
