At MELC, we are always looking for groups of volunteers to help us with projects at our centers. If you are interested in getting your group involved, contact Traci Connaughton at tconnaughton@melc.org. Here are some ideas of ways you can help:
- Volunteer groups to do arts and crafts based around holidays.
- Gardening event: In the spring, we will need 10-20 volunteers to help the children plant gardens in their playgrounds.
- Painting/Cleaning projects in centers.
- Coat or food drives.
- Aid our school-age programs with sports activities, homework help, science activity/experiments, talent shows, skits, puppets, music or art projects.
