Montgomery Early Learning Centers is seeking to fill an Early Head Start Assistant Teacher position at our centers located inNorristown and Philadelphia, PA.This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. 

Requirements: 

Education and Work Experience

 Two years verified experience working with young children

• Minimum: Infant/Toddler CDA
• Preferred: AA in Early Childhood Education
• AA in unrelated field plus ECE credit hours

Skills and Knowledge 

• Knowledge of EHS/ECE curriculum a plus
• Ability to relate well in a multicultural classroom environment
• Strong interpersonal skills reflecting solid customer service
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and comfortable interacting with parents/guardians
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and be a team player
• Knowledge and understanding of NAEYC, Keystone Stars and DPW licensing process and requirements a plus
• Thorough and organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Physically capable of performing necessary tasks with may include: lifting, carrying, supporting, and otherwise caring for young children
